My Spring Style For The Irish Times : Part 1

Excited to check in and chat with you about the exciting morning I spent today in the Iveagh Gardens shooting a short little video on my Spring street-style for The Irish Times website. To be totally honest it was a little outside my comfort zone to begin with though it turned out to be such a fun experience and change to my everyday work routine.

I decided to mix some of my staple wardrobe pieces like my trust Topshop Jamie jeans and favourite sleeveless blazer with some new pieces I have picked up over the last few weeks in preparation for Spring/Summer15.

I am obsessed with all things seventies inspired this season and love the idea of adding a few subtle seventies inspired accessories or details to my every day outfits which is what I went for when choosing this outfit.

The retro floral print silk Topshop Boutique blouse, the tan brown Dune satchel and the lace up burgundy Zara gladiator sandal boots are my nod to my favourite trend of the season.

Not wishing to go too overboard with the throwback I aimed to keep the outfit modern and wearable.
