The Pink Suit

Last winter’s must-have was without a doubt “The Pink Coat”! I don’t think I can remember a look that transferred so quickly from catwalk to worldwide street style.

However the pink buzz is far from over! This season we have another must-have look brewing in this fabulously flirty colour … The Pink Suit!!

Don’t worry you are not in danger of becoming a life-sized, walking, talking marshmallow. This look can be styled in a million different ways and still come out looking effortlessly cool every time!

Add a Breton tee, some plimsoles and Ray Bans for a laid back look.

Be bold and sexy, wear it bare with some killer strappy sandals and a contrasting pink lipstick. Prove power dressing in pretty shades is the perfect contradiction.

Or geek it up with a bag-pack, brogues and a crisp white shirt.

Walk in the fashion footsteps of style icons Jackie Onassis and Princess Diana and choose classic 50’s silhouettes and a boucle fabric for a more femme like finish.

There are so many options to suit your personal style. It’ll get you noticed for all the right reasons!

Pink Perfection! The radiant Emilia Clarke from The Game of Thrones is getting my vote for best dressed in her take on the colour of the season. I love the tuxedo detail on her blazer and I guess it doesn’t hurt that she is painfully beautiful!!

Oh and one golden tip make sure it’s a good quality premium cut. Shoddy tailoring in a standout shade is not what you’re going for!

Also Fellas this look is unisex I swear…..sceptical? check out Leo and the lads. Rethink “Pink”!!

I went with a gorgeous Topshop premium collection suit above and kept the look very simple with a silk cami and strappy gladiator heels!

I’m looking forward to getting maximum wear out of my suit by breaking it up as separates.

The gorgeous structured boyfriend style blazer will be ace with a pair of boyfriend jeans, a cami and pointy toe heels for an Olivia Palermo inspired look. A cheeky slogan t-shirt, some plimsoles, and sunnies will be the perfect chilled out combination for the tailored pink pants.

So what do you think? Will you be following my suit and trying this head-to-toe pink tailored look?

Till next time,
