Style Diary: Double Denim

This pretty minimal outfit below is a double denim outfit I wore to a casual dinner last week in Tenerife. I was lucky enough to escape for a heavenly few days with my Mum and sister. The weather was quite mixed so no major tanning situations but it was just lovely to relax and do nothing but read books and chill out after a super busy Christmas season in work.

The jeans are Topshop Jamie jeans, my absolute favourite style and fit, they are super tight, high waisted and a thick elastic denim that really help shape your waistline. I absolutly HATE jean shopping so its amazing to have a go to style that I can pick up in different colours each season and know they will work their wondrous magic every time. The shirt is also a slim fit Topshop basic and is in stock at the moment. Due to disorganised packing I had to keep my double denim look quite simple with black boots, a leather belt and a Topshop premium tailored blazer. However next time Ill be sure to be adding some print through my accessories or shoes to mix it up a little (check out my previous post for more about this: http://bombersandblondes.com/get-look-double-denim/). My new leather python print H&M boots below will be perfect with this combo too. Oh and I did manage to bring a little colour into the outfit by splashing a little Mac Vegas Volt lipstick to my lips.

Thats it for this evening but be sure to pop back soon as I have lots of SpringSummer15 trend update posts coming soon. I know it may seem miles off but if you invest in a few key transitional trend pieces now it will update and brighten your winter wardrobe up wonderfully and lift your spirits no end!!

Until next time,
